Summit Asset Management Expands into Baton Rouge

An affiliate of Summit Asset Management has acquired Meadowbrook, a 200-unit multi-family community in Baton Rouge, La.

"Baton Rouge has long-term fundamentals that are very attractive and we are pleased to add Meadowbrook to our portfolio," said John Barrett, who manages Summit's Houston regional office.

Summit Asset Management, headquartered in Montgomery, operates about 8,000 multi-family units, primarily in Southeast and Southwest.
